2-Day Championship


Bass Pro Shop's Big Cat Quest Championship will be held November 3-4, 2007 at Mud Island Riverpark in Memphis, Tennessee. This championship stop was great, but should now be awesome by offering one of the best fisheries for catfish in the United States on the Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee!

The event will offer a banquet for all fishermen on November 3, 2007 with a great concert, food and a first class host facility in the Mud Island River Park, which truly will provide Southern Hospitality at its finest.

The event will now be a two day team event, where the combined two day total of a five fish weigh-in, per team, per day will be added together to decide the 2007 Bass Pro Shop Champion and a guaranteed field purse worth over $75,000.00 in cash and prizes to be paid to a total of 30 teams. The entry fee for the event will be $250.00 per 2 person team and $300.00 per 3 person senior or youth team. The pre-registration will be held at Mud-Island on Friday November 2, 2007 from 4pm until 9pm and all should attend this meeting. We have waived all late fees for the event due to the change in site.

The official launch facilities for the event will be limited to boat ramps located in Shelby County, Tennessee only and all participants will be required to launch their boats during the hours of 5am and tournament start times at 6am on tournament days only, no exceptions!! The Saturday, November 3, 2007 tournament hours will be from 6am till 3pm, and you must be in weigh-line by 4pm.

The anglers banquet and entertainment will start at 5:00pm immediately following weigh-in and all anglers should come as you are to it. Please, notify us of how many guests will be attending with you no later than October 29, 2007, each participant may bring one guest free.

Sunday official fishing hours will be from 6am until 1pm and you must be in line by 2pm for weigh-in. The TWRA will be conducting the weigh-in with our staff at this event and all is shaping up to be a great tournament. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may bring, but all-in-all this should be one of the best catfishing events ever held.

Our Championship is guaranteed to be worth over $75,000.00 in cash and prizes and will be taped for our national television show to air in 2008 on GAC TV and will also be taped by Bill Dance Outdoors for broadcasting at a future date.
