2011 Bass Pro Shop's Big Cat Quest held March 19, 2011 Richmond, Va. Results

Congratulations to the five overall winners of the March 19, 2011 BCQ held in Richmond, Va. This was an hourly tournament and above and below weight is based on a one fish weigh-in. Number of entries was 124 and this year we are proud to have had 37 young anglers participate and some of the kids took home some serious cash. All young anglers who weighed-in received a Plano tackle box and from $20.00 to $100.00 in cash. At the BCQ all young anglers 12yrs and younger fish for free..  Total cash payback with wildcards and payouts for the tournament was $11,870.00. Tournament day began with temps in the thirties, rain, and flat line winds which destroyed the weigh-in site, but thanks to our first class staff and some help from our friends and sponsors at Fairbanks Scales we managed to conduct the tournament. We ended the day with a beautiful 69 degree finish and a tide that was second to none we have ever experienced, thanks to the Super Moon phase that we were in. Special thanks to our friends at the Lily Pad and The Richmond Virginia Bass Pro Shops for all their hospitality during Friday night registration and a very special thanks to Eric and Jeff for providing hot dogs and drinks to all the anglers.
